Negative emission technologies (NET) and carbon dioxide removal (CDR) can make a contribution to the Decarbonisation of Switzerland. The project DeCIRRA takes an interdisciplinary approach to these technologies and includes both the technical and the economic perspective. Specifically, the main focus is on Carbon Capture and Utilization/Storage (CCUS), i.e. capture at point sources, Direct Air Capture (DAC), the use of wood construction and Biochar. The innovation Monitor team is part of the DeCIRRA Flagship project and helped to write the Interims Report.
